Cleaning of shapes
In a phase of increasing prices for raw material and growing disposal
costs, the recycling of shapes from cost intensive metals gets more and
more to an economical alternative.
As a partner in an EU research project, RPE developed a plant for the
ultrasonic cleaning of magnesium shapes.
Tests at a university for metallurgy found out, that the same cleaning
process is usable for shapes from aluminium, brass and bronze.
